Midlands Illustrator | Sculptor | Artist | Author |

Welcome

to my site. My name is Krista Joy and I’m a mixed media illustrator from the West Midlands specialising in one-of-a-kind handmade art dolls. You can see examples of these in my portfolio where there is also examples of greeting card designs, packaging design and commissions which I have done previously. I work with an array of different materials and media to produce my artwork including sculpting clay, graphic design using Illustrator & Photoshop as well as hand drawn work.

My portfolio is ever changing and expanding so a simple ‘like‘ on Facebook or subscription to my blog will keep you up to date.

If you are in the West Midlands you can find some of my products in retail shops such as Daniel James Photography (Kinver), Scary Canary Clothing (in Stourbridge) and Tania Holland Gallery (Bridgnorth) including art dolls, jewellery & covered notebooks or available worldwide on Button Box at Etsy, Billy Dylan (Etsy) and Folksy.

I’m also available for commissions whether they are for art dolls, handmade jewellery or graphic design (via PeoplePerHour).

Hope you enjoy the site!

A while ago I found myself wondering how I could make the dragons more accessible to children, as they seem to be the ones who are most attracted to the cute little guys! But being small enough to chew, this was not an easy option. Once again, Billy Dylan saved …

With the new website almost launched, its time to carry on with the other jobs I’ve set for myself. I daren’t say the word ‘resolutions’ because if you break those, people whinge at you. If I put off a job, it’s not so bad! With the usual holidays in store, …
